The short version
The MyStarStorage software is free to use. The place your files live is a storage account you open yourself with another company. They set their own prices and limits and they bill you, not us.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account and for the content you upload — it must be yours to keep and lawful where you live.
Your files
Your files are yours. We claim no ownership. Because they sit in your storage account, we cannot restore anything you delete there, and we cannot reach your files if you disconnect or change your keys.
Availability
We work hard to keep the service running but cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Features may change or be withdrawn. Keep your own backup of anything irreplaceable.
Fair use
Do not use the service to break the law, to store material you have no right to, or to interfere with other people's accounts. We may close an account that does.
Responsibility
The software is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of data held in your own storage account or for losses caused by your storage provider.
Changes
If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top.
